STOCK YOUR VAULT: New DVDs & Blu-rays for 12/03/2019!

Vault Master's Pick of the Week!

Greetings Vault Dwellers and welcome to the first Stock Your Vault post of December 2019! This week is a bit on the light side, but there are definitely some big must-have titles to add to your collection!

The final season of GAME OF THRONES is now available on all formats (as is THE COMPLETE COLLECTION), 2019's READY OR NOT arrives on DV & Blu-ray, and Shudder brings BOAR (the second best giant killer pig movie I've ever seen) to both DVD & Blu-ray!

Arrow Video blasts us with a trio of Special (standard) Edition titles, including JAKE SPEED, SLAUGHTER-HOUSE FIVE, and WATERWORLD (sans the second disc that contains the extended and European cuts), while Kino Lorber Studio Classics gives us new Special Edition Blus of KONGA, THE MAGIC SWORD, and SHE (starring Sandahl Bergman)!

But it is truly Scream Factory that holds sway over all this week, with their fantastic new Collector's Edition (and Limited Edition Steelbook) of John Carpenter's BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA! Featuring electrifying new cover art, this 2-Disc release contains the previous 2009 HD transfer but makes up for that with HOURS of new special features, including two new audio commentaries, and TWELVE new cast & crew interviews! And for you big spenders, Scream Factory is also offering up exclusive bundles that contain posters and a 7" vinyl record that contains two tracks from the film's amazing soundtrack!

There are a slew of indie horror titles out today, several (likely) bootlegs of out of print Horror titles (e.g. GRIZZLY 2: THE PREDATOR and both original SLEEPAWAY CAMP sequels), and a bunch of animated fare! To see the full roster, just keep on keeping on Vault Dwellers!

COMET TV MONSTER SUMMER MOVIE LINEUP

Every Sunday evening throughout the Summer, Comet TV is airing a double-header of classic monster movies! The first film each night features everyone's favorite giant fire-breathing lizard while the second is guaranteed to star some lesser-known beasts! The Godzilla films featured run the gamut from his 1954 debut GOJIRA, to the silly SON OF GODZILLA, to the kaiju overload of DESTROY ALL MONSTERS.

As for the other monsters featured, you can look forward to campy classics like the King Kong/Frankenstein hybrid KONGA, the Korean Godzilla equivalent YONGARY: MONSTER FROM THE DEEP, and the legendary — thanks to Mystery Science Theater 3000 — REPTILICUS!
