Greetings Vault Dwellers! As we say goodbye to July 2019 (damn these Summer days are just flying by, aren't they?) we get a really fond farewell from several of our favorite genre labels.
Kino Lorber Studio Classics brings the Vic Morrow vehicle TARGET: HARRY to DVD & Blu-ray disc, Well Go USA takes us to THE ISLAND, Warner Archive brings WHATEVER HAPPENED TO BABY JANE? to Blu-ray, and Arrow Video UK gives SCHRAMM a new (Region B locked) Limited Edition release.
Vinegar Syndrome has a really strong lineup this week featuring four titles I am completely unfamiliar with (which is never a bad thing), including MASCARA, THE PINK LADIES, PLAY DEAD, and HELLMASTER. But that all pales in comparison to Scream Factory's newest additions to their impossibly huge catalog.
The Roger Corman-produced HUMANOIDS FROM THE DEEP received a new Limited Edition Steelbook that boasts a new 4K transfer and the oft-overlooked classic THE LEOPARD MAN comes to Blu-ray with a new 4K scan (from the original nitrate film print!) and extras! Four Hammer Horror classics also received the royal treatment from Scream Factory, namely LUST FOR A VAMPIRE, QUATERMASS II, QUATERMASS AND THE PIT, and THE REPTILE!
There's also a slew of cult and exploitation double feature DVDs out now from Frolic Features, plus a small number of new titles on DVD and Blu-ray disc. To see the full roster, be sure to keep scrolling!
