Back in January, I threw out a prediction that this set would become a reality by November 13, 2020, and it turns out that I was just a month off! But even I couldn't BEGIN to surmise that the end result would be a sixteen-disc beast with so much restoration work, and so many hours upon hours of special features!

And sure, while we all would have liked to have seen an extended cut of PART VII: THE NEW BLOOD (that footage is likely lost for all eternity sadly), and even though there have been some issues with the final product (as stated way up top), this is a FANTASTIC release and likely the closest we'll ever get to a definitive collection! So what's the price of this monster? Depending on where you go it goes for between $130 - $160, which isn't bad considering that you get a dozen feature-length films, multiple documentaries, and two bonus discs loaded with content.

Egads! I never thought I'd see the day where fans would get complete sets of ANY Horror franchise, let alone the likes of FRIDAY THE 13TH and HALLOWEEN. And now here I am telling you about Arrow Video's upcoming HOUSE: THE COMPLETE COLLECTION, which contains ALL FOUR "HOUSE" FILMS!

HOUSE and HOUSE II: THE SECOND STORY have primarily been available in North America on DVD (originally released by Anchor Bay), and HOUSE III (aka THE HORROR SHOW) was recently brought to Blu-ray by Scream Factory! Synopsis for HOUSE II: THE SECOND STORY (1987): Young Jesse (Arye Gross) moves into an old family mansion where his parents were mysteriously murdered years before. Plans for turning the place into a party pad are soon thwarted by the appearance of Jesse’s mummified Great Grandpa (Royal Dano), his mystical crystal skull, and a zombified cowboy named Slim Razor, who’ll stop at nothing to lay his hands on it!
